Abstract

The study aims at defining the factors influencing the drivers' decisions in case of conflict when crossing an intersection. The behaviour of drivers reaching an intersection simultaneously from two different roads has been studied in the case of a rural intersection with good visibility. Objective indexes of drivers' behaviour concerning in particular speed have been evaluated. An analysis is given of the results.
