Abstract

Some actions of restructuring and rehabilitation of "regies" of urban transport and support of their offer by private concessionaries have been taken to make a balance between offer and demand. In Casablanca (Morocco), this programme is the beginning of ambitious actions aimed at realising a system of heavy public transport. (A) The English title of the paper is: "Privatization of urban public transport and restructuring/rehabilitation of urban transportation autonomous council management : process of adaptability of supply to urban transport demand."
