One of the measures of the Dutch National Plan for Traffic Safety was the test project on regional traffic safety policy in the province of Noord Brabant together with the provincial and local authorities to stimulate the formulation and execution of a regional and local traffic safety policy. The set-up of such a project is described and some recommendations are presented.
