Abstract

The main purpose of the study is to select problem situations on main roads, inside built- up areas with the final aim to introduce countermeasures which increase traffic safety on such roads. A problem situation is defined as a characteristic for a situation, specified to the location, time and circumstances, in which many accidents occur absolutely or relatively. Two kinds of problem situations are discussed. See also B 28582.
