Abstract

A significant share of the resources available for the improvement of infrastructure safety is targeted at the identification and improvement of accident blackspots. This document discusses: i) the situation as perceived currently by the various countries; and ii) the development of this problem through the example of several countries which in the Working Group expressed greater interest in this regard, i.e. the Netherlands, France, Spain, Norway, Canada and the USA.
