Abstract

Some of the issues raised by the current disagreement as to whether it is more appropriate to used "perceived" or "measured" data in models that estimate model choice are given The procedure adopted is to consider the hypotheses that can underlie the model-choice models and to discuss which data type is more appropriate, given the suggested hypotheses.
