Abstract
The subjects of the papers are broken down into four areas. The first five papers deal with accident data and its acquisition. The second area contains four papers concerning structural crashworthiness. The third area, occupant protection systems, gets in dept coverage from eleven papers, dealing with seat belts, airbags, and child restraints. The last section includes six papers on system testing and verification.
