Abstract

This report highlights some of the current research on child occupant protection, particularly in view of relatively high usage in many countries around the world. Studies on the changes in injury patterns, engineering advances to improve the performance of child restraint systems, regulations affecting the design of such systems, and the effectiveness of laws and current public policies are reported from eight countries.
