Abstract

It is one of the missions of the Forum of European Road Safety Research Institutes (FERSI) to encourage closer co-operation between European researchers. For this goal FERSI finds that it is important to provide young researchers across European countries with a forum where they can get together and discuss their research activities. FERSI arranges therefore FERSI Young Researchers' Seminar at intervals. In FERSI Young Researchers' Seminar 2001 there are 21 participants from 11 countries presenting 23 papers. Further 5 members of FERSI board take part as chairpersons. The following research areas are covered in this seminar: - education / children; - attitudes; - driving behaviour and its control; - infrastructure; - handicaps'; - in-vehicle devices. (A)
