Abstract

The 5 papers presented at the conference review the development of accident information systems and their results. At the epidemiological level, consideration is given to work which has already been completed on the various types of road traffic accidents and injuries, on the identification of risk groups, and on the relationship of such groups to vehicles design and behavioural patterns. Methods of data quantification, and problems of analysis as well as interpretation of data are also considered.
