In this report the current situation and developments of business car ownership and use in the Netherlands are described. The following topics are studied: (1) the size of business car fleet; (2) the mobility of business car drivers; (3) the business car characteristics; (4) the degree to which business car drivers are involved in traffic offences, especially in speed offences, compared to private car drivers; (5) the (average) personal characterictics of the business car driver; and (6) the economic importance of business car drivers focused on congestion aspects: the degree to which business car drivers suffer from congestion.
