A program for calculating Thiessen average rainfall.

Abstract

This report describes a digital computer program for the determination of the mean rainfall over an area using the Thiessen method. The area can be of any shape and there is no necessity for the rain-gauge network to be the same for all storms. It is suggested that the program may have applications outside the field of hydrology.
