Abstract

The Ministry of Transport (Japan) has established the "Study Group for Promotion of Advanced Safety Vehicle (ASV)", consisting of several university professors and manufacturers and has conducted research & development of ASVs equipped with numerous driver-friendly devices to ensure high-level safety by applying advanced electronics technology.
