Abstract

Methods of assessing the suitability of stabilized materials for road base and sub-base construction are described, including the types of materials that can be stabilized with cement and how their chemical and physical properties affect their suitability for stabilization. The influence of other factors such as temperature, time and the amount of cement are also discussed. (Author/publisher)
