Abstract
State, county, and municipal law enforcement agencies are responsible for delivering police traffic services essential to the lifesaving goals of highway safety. The number of crashes and injuries can be directly reduced by aggressive enforcement. This plan will help to provide effective guidance, and technical assistance to enforcement agencies so as to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of police traffic services and increase the amount of police effort allocated to traffic services.
