Abstract

Dr. Aldman of Sweden has advocated a strong backward-facing seat for protecting a small child when carried as a passenger in a car. This note suggests several ways in which further improvements in protection and in convenience could be made by applying the same principle of rear ward facing seats. They are all based on the idea of using a bucket type of front passenger seat
