On the basis of known data concerning the human head's impact tolerance, the Peugeot-Renault Laboratory has designed and produced a prototype helmet for cyclists, that is suitable adapted to the head's impact tolerance and embodies also features of comfort and style. It is unacceptable for a cyclist to use a motorcyclist's helmet for reason's having to do both with weight and comfort.
