Abstract

Emotion is the old heartland of psychophysiology. The pounding heart, sweaty palms, and trembling hands the accompany, for instance, feelings on intense fright are so obvious correlates of the emotion that their investigation appears a self- evident component in scientific approach to the subject. Some of the most fundamental questions about emotion naturally belong within the area of psychophysiology.
