Abstract

Topic areas discussed in this volume include Speed Limit Acceptance, Speed Detection Methods, and Dangerous and Negligent Driving. For each proposed countermeasure, results from the public survey provide measures of opinion, acceptability, and perceived effectiveness. The relationship of various demographic factors (e.g., age, sex, education, income, etc), to countermeasure acceptance and perceived effectiveness is also reported.
