Abstract

Several forms of public transport operate within the city of Baghdad, Iraq. System attributes are assessed and compared with private transport, based on surveys carried out through the Baghdad comprehensive study. An evaluation of generalised cost of the various modes is undertaken in terms of behavioural and resource units. To reflect services rendered as against cost to the community, the productivity of different modes is compared.
