Public transport journey times in London - 1970.

Abstract

A survey of public transport journey times carried out in London in 1970 is described. Journey times by public transport of 120 trips sampled were measured during peak hours. Results are given in tabulated form, and are compared with data from other sources. The relation between passenger waiting times and service frequency is also investigated.
