Abstract

The thinking of Public Private Partnership (PPP) is still often guided by stressing the content (legal, technical and financial), and attention for the process of cooperation is mostly limited. In several projects, the Netherlands Transport Research Centre (AVV) together with Awareness, bureau for Policy Consultancy, has put effort into the issue of how the process of cooperation can be shaped and managed in order to make PPP successful. By means of describing the experiences and results of these projects, this paper intends to illustrate concretely the necessity of giving due attention to the process of cooperation (next to looking into the contents) in PPP.
