Abstract

Motor vehicle crashes produce more new quadriplegics and paraplegics each year in the U.S. than all other causes combined. The vehicle occupant has to protect himself too by wearing seat belts. The industry and the vehicle occupant must combine their efforts in the interest in better protection in crashes.
