Abstract

Lomé, the capital of Togo, is one of the rare African cities where urban transportation is entirely controlled by the informal, non-government sector. Such a situation does not facilitate mastering of the urban mobility, and it necessitates the installation of a coherent and global policy of urban transportation. (A) The English title of the paper is: "What urban transportation in Lomé in the year 2000?"
