Abstract

The aim of this report is to describe random breath testing activity in Victoria between 1977 and 1985. The report just describes the level of activity which occurred in Melbourne and the rest of Victoria during those years and then looks at the detection rate by area and time. The report concludes with a summary of the effects on night time accidents of a number of random breath testing campaigns.
