Abstract
A preliminary ordening of problems of road user behaviour is presented. Therefore is studied which traffic rules are important for traffic safety and for which reason. Also is looked to the problems by means of an evaluation of accident data. Thereafter two problems, important for the number of victims, are worked out in more detail. The introduction of the new Dutch traffic regulations per March, 1990 was the motive for this research, because the basic rules for the road user behaviour can be found in these regulations.
