This report records the trends in road accident statistics for 1992 in ECMT Member countries, four associate Member countries (Australia, Canada, Japan and the United States) and one observer country (Morocco). It also provides data on the trends from 1975 to 1992 in these countries, individually and as a whole, in numbers killed, casualties (killed and injured), accidents causing casualties, and motor vehicles, and sets out a number of factors to be taken into account in any analysis of road accidents.
