Abstract

For the planning of clean air and /or for tests of environmental compatibility, model modules were developed for the calculation of vehicle- related pollution in urban road networks. These include models for traffic flow and emissions, as well as a diffusion model for canyon- streets. The bases for the traffic flow and the emission model and their possible application by means of concrete calculation examples for emission scenarios are illustrated.
