Abstract

The policy of the new administration in the U.S.A. is to dismantle systematically safety programs. Motivated by ideology and contemptuous of schientific facts, the administration has attacked or neglected three major lifesaving programs under the aegis of the agency: motor vehicle standards, motorcycle safety, and the 55 mph. speed limit.
