Abstract

The aim of effectiveness studies is to describe the type, direction and extent of the effects of safety measures on the number of accidents, i. e. its particular objective is to quantify the effects. New methods employing loglinear or logit models have recently been developed for simultaneous experimental design. It its shown that these methods makes considerably better use of the available information.
