Abstract

In order to reduce traffic accidents and increase the standard of service on the roads it is important to be able to warn car drivers in good time of the dangers and difficulties they are likely to met. As the common signals are mostly inadequate, various solutions are sought by radio-electric methods. Some of these communication systems exist already and the need for standardization of systems is stressed. A discussion is added.
