Abstract

A definition of reckless driving is given. The three general types of reckless driving laws are summarized. Requirements for conviction are presented and examples are given of violations which courts and juries may regard as reckless driving. The difference between reckless driving, and driving under influence of alcohol is described. Case summery forms, may be useful in case preparation. Elements which have to be proven are presented.
