Abstract

The objective of this study was to assess the feasibility of using before and after accident data to measure the safety impact of increased night time visual guidance provided by raised pavement markers. The relative effectiveness of raisedpavement markers is influenced by factors such as geometrics, traffic, degree of curvature, speed and wet pavement.
