Abstract

This paper addresses the reconstruction of rollover accidents using crash test results and field experience. The speed before loss of control may be calculated, based upon the energy dissipation of the skid and rollover distances. The car- to- ground impacts may be described by number of rolls, number of ground impacts, ground impact severity, and vehicle damage pattern.
