Reduced-visibility (fog) accidents on limited-access highways.

Abstract

The report reviews the various approaches that have been taken to prevent fog accidents or that have a bearing on that problem. In light of this finding, it includes recommendations to alleviate the problem from several directions, namely, driver education, enforcement of the basic speed rule as related to fog accidents, post-accident control of fog accidents, fog detection and highway guidance systems.
