Abstract

Accident data for vehicles using experimental reflectorized number plates were collected for a 12-month period, after which comparisons were made between data concerning nighttime and daytime accidents. It was concluded that there was no statistically significant difference between the number of nighttime rear-end collision of vehicles equipped with reflectorized number plates and that of cars with non-reflective plates.
