Abstract

Some cultural historical remarks on the history of the motor vehicle are given. Four problems are evident: the requirements for the driver, factors which are detrimental to the driving ability, medical aid and the social consequences of an accident, and technical planning and extension of the road net work. More requirements are the production of cars must be directed to really existing needs and the pollution should not be increased by the technique.
