Abstract
brief survey of research into traffic control at (simrle)intersections is presented. It consists of an analysis oftoe behaviour of cars, pedestrians etc, on intersectionscarried out by simulation and full scale checks of severalsystems. Althoubh the research is being continuel with aresearch into Traffic Optimization Logij (TOL, trafficactuated instead of vehicle actuated control systems, thisreport already provides a part on vehicle actuated controlsystems.
