Abstract

The still increasing costs for fuel and the necessity to save the primary energy makes it more attractive to study the present energy users. In particular from vehicles the energy use can be improved by sharing the kinetic energy, which arises by the conversion of the heat at the braking, and afterwards reusing this kinetic energy for the acceleration. The application of such a system in a bus is described.
