Abstract

An analysis of expected effects of the regulation was performed estimating the costs of the DRL equipment and their use, their benefits in accident avoidance, and any subsidiary effects on economic activity. The effects of incorporating an automatic DRL system operating normal, intensity low- beam headlamps and exterior marking lamps are described.
