Abstract

The importance of factors influencing the behaviour or performance of drivers of motor vehicles is noted, and the role of drugs other than alcohol is considered. Reference is made to various surveys carried out to establish the size of the problem and an outline is given of the probable effects on driving performance of certain specific groups of drugs.
