Abstract

The purpose of this report is to determine the relationship of accident involvement and number of citations accumulated by licensed Washington drivers during the year 1966. The major findings of this study are as follows: 1- There is a strong, positive relationship of accident involvement and number of citations: 2- Age and sex, separately and in that order, are of importance in interpreting this relationship: 3- The combination of age and sex provides an even better interpretation of the relationship being studied.
