Abstract

Certain studies have shown that skull deformation may have important implications for injury produces by blunt impact to the head. The purpose of this paper is to study the influence of skull bone characterization on brain injuries as well as an physical parameter criteria. In order to characterize the resistance of the skulls, the Skull Bone Condition Factor (SBCF-index) is defined.
