Abstract

A. Driving record in relation to non-vision variables: 1. driver record variables correlate most highly with each other and next most highly with quantitative exposure and then age. a. increasing number of accidents is associated with increasing number of convictions. 2. Significant sex differences are evident in all the analyses. B. Driving record in relation to vision variables: 1. dynamic visual acuity shows the strongest relationships with driving record. C. The prediction of driving record: 1. Convictions are more predictable than accidents.
