Abstract

Selected literature on alcohol and risk of crash is reviewed. The relative risk of a crash for given levels of BACs is presented. Results of laboratory studies examining alcohol level and impairment are also summarized. The risks of crash by gender, drinking frequency and vehicle make /model combinations is also discussed.
