Relative visual movement perception applied to vehicle guidance.

Abstract

While perception of object motion is in principle explicable by comparison of visual movement and eye movement, recent analyses suggest that this ability is often largely dependent on visual sensation alone. This must be particularly true for vehicle guidance, since proprioceptive information may then be minimal.
