Abstract

The use of radio for communicating information to drivers has been so far very limited. Technological progress makes it possible to envisage a more complete and more generalized use of this means in the near future. A decision to make use of this means demands a twofold approach; study of the capacity of radio methods for transmitting information and a study of still unsatisfied needs of road users and authorities. General problems are discussed. Discussion is added.
