Abstract

The GRC confirmed at an AD Hoc Meeting at Paris from 1 to 3 Dec. 1971 the decision taken at its fifth session that all requirements concerning safety-belt anchorages ought to be embodied in one and the same regulation. It therefore decided to review Regulation No. 14 (Uniform Provisions concerning the Approval of Vehicles with regard to Safety-Belt Anchorages on Passengers cars) to make it applicable also in the case when one or more of the anchorages are on the seat structure. It took as a basis for the discussion proposals prepared by the rapporteur from the United Kingdom.
