Abstract

It is concluded that in Ontario the present methods of collecting and analyzing traffic accident information are better than in most Canadian provinces and American states, that they are still inadequate for the identification of the specific causes of accidents involving trucks. There is also too great a temptation to use the existing data for propaganda rather than for objective analysis.
