Abstract

This book has grown from the ideas and work of a group of general medical practitioners who during the past dozen years have developed a scheme of expert immediate car for catastrophes at the roadside and at other accident sites. Principles of first aid, emergency management, ambulances, injuries, immediate care, safety and the role of the police are mentioned.
